Delta will have random unannounced sales on select routes.

Now, Delta One business class can be booked for as low as 94k points each way (188k round-trip). If you have a Delta Amex co-branded credit card that has an annual fee, you get a 15% discount, making it cost ~80k each way. These flights are fully refundable as well. However, only Amex transfers to Delta, and transfers are one way so be sure to have a plan for those points if you do cancel.

Importantly, in Delta fashion, you can book the flights TO Tokyo starting at 94k points. But you need to book a round-trip to get the same 94k pricing on the return when averaged out across a round-trip. Otherwise Delta will ask for their absurd pricing booking a one-way return to the US.

Luckily, Delta points seem to have some good uses every now and then. There have been a lot flash deals in the last few months to Asia & Europe across business and economy

Delta One Suites on the A350

Delta generally flies their A350 on the MSP/HND and LAX/HND routes, which has a newer Delta One Suite. Yes, that means it has a door.

About Find Flights for Me.

I started the idea of Find Flights for Me back in 2023 to help educate and inspire people to use their credit card points more effectively, with a focus on using points to fly business and first class flights.

When I’m not working on Wall Street or searching for flight deals, you can find me planning for my upcoming wedding, enjoying local restaurants, helping my parents book their next trip, traveling internationally, or visiting friends/family in NYC, Philadelphia, or DC.
